CME On TB Sensitization

CME on TB Sensitization:
NMCRC and Nootan General Hospital visnagar has organized TB Sensitization workshop for faculty members on 16th July,2021 at Nootan Medical College Auditorium Hall.

Tuberculosis remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers. Each day, nearly 4000 lose their lives to TB and close to 28,000 people fall ill with this preventable and curable disease. March 2017 the Government of India (GoI) announced that the new aim with regard to TB in India was the elimination of TB by 2025.

“Ensuring affordable and quality healthcare to the population is a priority for the government and we are committed to achieving zero TB deaths and therefore we need to re-strategize, think afresh and have to be aggressive in our approach to end TB by 2025”.

In view of the current TB burden in India, there is a great deal that needs to be done if elimination is to be achieved by 2025.
