On September 5, 2021, Teacher's Day is celebrated to pay special homage to the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan , the second President of the 19th Independent India. Program was jointly organized by Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar and Rotary Club of Visnagar to honor the teachers and students for their special achievements in the region. Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of the Sankalchand Patel University was honored with "Word Book of Records London" for successfully conducting various health oriented services and social upliftment activities during difficult times like corona pandemic, which is a matter of pride for the whole of North Gujarat. The Rotary Club of Visnagar honored 11 teachers for their contribution under the Best Teacher Award, and the winners of the drawing competition were also honored with awards for "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" and Independence Day celebrations. Apart from this, four schools of Visnagar taluka, Kamana Primary School-2, Saduthala, Vishnupura and Khodiyarpura Primary Schools were specially awarded for their achievements from "Rotary Star One Recognition" under "WINS". As part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the first three student friends who won in the Eloquence Competition on the theme "Students Perception from Primary to Higher Education" were honored by various faculties of Sankalchand Patel University. Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of the University, congratulated the teachers for their important contribution in the society and nation building by shaping the student oriented character and personality at present. Dr. J. R. Patel, Provost of Sankalchand Patel University urged the teachers on the implementation of value based education. Dr. Madhusudan Brahmbhatt as the keynote speaker of the program and Dr. K. M. Joshi presented their views on National Education Policy. Mr. Gajendrabhai Doshi, President, Rotary Club Visnagar, Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel, Secretary, Project Chairman Prakashbhai Choksi, Chancellor of the University Dr. J. R. Patel and faculty members of the University were present. Congratulations were extended from the entire Sankalchand University family to the administrator Mr. Niravbhai Patel, Mr. Sanjaybhai Patel (Gosa) and the Rotary Club Visnagar for organizing the grandly successful Teacher's Day program.
