A grand celebration of World Physiotherapy Day was held at Sankalchand Patel University

The nootan college of physiotherapy affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University celebrated the World Physiotherapy Day on 8th September. The theme was Long COVID and Rehabilitation. Shri. Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University wished the faculty members and students of the Physiotherapy College on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day and wished them a bright future. The chief guest of the program on this day was Dr. Sagar Nayak (Founder of Asian Physiotherapy and Research Institute, Surat) was present and provided information to the physiotherapy students for their higher careers and explained the importance of physiotherapy across India. As part of the program, the principal of the institute, Dr. Subhash Khatri briefed the students on the theme of this year's World Physiotherapy Day and congratulated Dr. Priyanka Chaudhary, the moderator of the program, for the successful organization of the program. On this day, for the promotion of students, prizes were awarded to the first three ranked students who passed the university examination as well as prizes and certificates were awarded to academic and non-academic staff. The National Quiz Competition was organized on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, in which the winners were awarded with certificates. A practical training session was also organized by yoga guru Shri Jivanbhai Patel under which more than 150 students and faculties took advantage of the direct training to stay healthy by incorporating yoga and pranayama in their daily routine.
