Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar on 12th August 2022 was celebrated as a research day on the occasion of birth anniversary of Padma Vibhushan Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, who was credited with founding the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) across the country and Gujarat. Dr. Nilesh Desai, Director, Space Application Centre, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was Invited as a chief guest and the lecture series organized as part of the Research Day celebrations and apprised the entire university family about the various projects and innovations being undertaken by ISRO.
