On 15th August, 2022, Sankalchand Patel University organized a flag hoisting program with "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" and "Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga" campaign as a part of celebration of 75 Years of Independence. In which Colonel Rajesh Navarkhel, 35 Battalion N.C.C. was the chief guest from Palanpur and international badminton player, Vaidehi Parikh, was the chief guest. A 75-feet national flag march past and parade was organized by the university staff and students in which more than 800 members of the entire university family participated. Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav was proudly celebrated today by hoisting the national flag 30 feet long and 20 feet wide on a 132 feet high pillar by the chief guest Colonel Rajesh Navarkhele at the University in the utmost honor of the national flag which is a symbol of valor, peace and prosperity. On this auspicious day, International and National Admission Cell at University and National Level Indoor Badminton Court at Nootan School Campus were inaugurated in the presence of guests. A National Kabaddi Camp was inaugurated.
