Its proud moment for Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Sankalchand Patel University had organised KARYSHALA a high-end workshop on “RECENT ADVANCES, RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY” from 5th -10th Sept,2022. The workshop was sponsored by Science Engineering Research Board [SERB] under Accelerate Vigyan KARYSHALA scheme. President of SPU Hon’ble Shri Prakash Patel provided all the infrastructure, and necessary support for the workshop and wished best luck for all the candidates. Provost of SPU Dr. D.J Shah said that these kinds of workshops will enhance the skill of maxillofacial surgeon and they can give best needed service to the community. He proudly told that SPU has all the heigh end equipment’s and Instruments needed for the surgical skill training program. The program was Inaugurated by Dean of Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital Dr. Vilas Patel and she said that dental college will host such kind of events regularly for the benefit of the dental students. The event organizer and HOD of OMFS Dr.Anil Managutti welcomed the speakers and delegates and briefed about the high end workshops salient features and facilities given to candidates. Professor Dr.Shailesh Menat ,Dr.Rushit Patel and Dr.Nirav Patel ,organizing secretary and committee members thanked SERB and all the speakers, delegates and interns and non-teaching staff for vigorously and meticulously working and making the program as grand success. In this national 17 national and one international expert speakers deliberated and shared their advanced knowledge. There were more than 30 participants from various states attended the workshop.
