Viksit Bharat @2047 is the vision of the Government of India to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of its independence. This vision includes various aspects of development including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance.
The successful Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi addressed the theme 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of the Youth' through video conferencing on December 11, 2023. According to the Prime Minister, this is the right time for India and "this is the period in India's history when the country is about to take a quantum leap". Prime Minister Shri Modi stressed the importance of going beyond skills and education and called for civic sense and "vigilance for the national interest" among citizens. The Prime Minister said that "when citizens, in any role, start doing their duty, the country moves forward". The Prime Minister emphasized that "25 years of Amrit Kaal are ahead of us. We have to work round the clock for the goal of Viksit Bharat @2047. This is the environment we have to create as a family".
On this occasion, the Prime Minister organized a workshop in the Raj Bhavans across the country as a symbol of the initiation of the initiative and invited the chancellors of universities, heads of institutions across the country, as part of which a Sadar workshop was organized in the Raj Bhavan of the state of Gujarat. In which Gujarat State Governor Hon’ble Acharya Devvrat and Hon’ble Minister of Education Mr. Rushikeshbhai Patel, Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Prafulkumar Pansuriya (State Level), Chancellors of various Universities of the State, Heads of Institutions and various officials of the Education Department participated enthusiastically. As a part of which Dr. Prafulkumar Udani, Provost, Sankalchand Patel University, Dr. Parimal Trivedi, Registrar, Dr. Vijay Singh Baghel, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Vilas Patel, Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Dr. Santosh Shah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Indrajit Singhvi, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy was present.
In this regard, Live Broadcasting of the workshop organized by Sankalchand Patel University on "Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth" at various auditoriums of Sankalchand Patel University. In which more than 1500 persons participated in this conference, including heads, faculty members and students of affiliated institutions of Sankalchand Patel University.
Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University with the objective of providing a platform to the youth of India to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 when India will complete 100 years of its independence by 2047, the S.O.P issued by the government to university academics to play a key role in initiating the process of engaging youth to share their ideas and suggestions to make India a developed nation. called for strict implementation of the various directives laid down for the University and the students, and emphasized on the continuous efforts made by the Prime Minister and requested everyone to join hands to fulfill the commitment of the Prime Minister to build Viksit Bharat @2047. It was also emphasized that it is only through the collective support, faith and collective efforts of the youth that the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 can be realized.
