On December 28, 2024, Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering celebrated its Silver Jubilee with the grand organization of the Alumni Meet-2024 on the Engineering Campus. Over 500 alumni gathered to relive old memories and celebrate the 25-year progressive journey of the Engineering College.
The morning session included delightful interactions between faculty members and alumni, where old memories were cherished, and discussions were held on emerging technologies. Guidance was also provided on updating the curriculum to align with the latest technological advancements. Additionally, a free medical check-up camp was organized during the event.
Dr. H. N. Shah, Technical Director; Dr. P. J. Patel, Principal; and Dr. Mohammad Idris Sindhi, Secretary of the Alumni Association, highlighted the institution's journey and achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. Alumni expressed gratitude towards the college for shaping their careers and making significant contributions in various fields.
Cultural activities, including campus tours, a trip to Vadnagar, and interactive networking sessions, added joy and excitement to the program. During the celebration, the Best Alumni Awards-2024 were presented, recognizing outstanding alumni from different engineering departments.
The day concluded with a grand gala dinner where alumni and faculty members shared memorable moments together. Engineering faculty expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants for making the event a success and reaffirmed their commitment to further progress in engineering education.
