To nurture students' latent talents alongside academics and to promote Indian cultural values, the university annually organizes the "Nootan Udaan" Annual Cultural Festival. This year, "Nootan Udaan-2025" was celebrated grandly from February 10 to 14.
More than 1,500 students from various affiliated colleges of the university enthusiastically participated in over 20 cultural competitions, including Rangoli, Mehndi, Short Film Making, Oratory, Salad Decoration, Debate, Mono Acting, Mimicry, and Group Dance.
On the final day, February 14, stage performances featured over 40 events, where students showcased their exceptional artistic skills, creating an electrifying and energetic atmosphere.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Vice Chairman of Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal Shri Chandubhai Patel, Provost Dr. P. M. Udani, and Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi. During the event, faculty members and students who achieved remarkable success at national and international levels in education, research, and competitive fields were honored with medals for their outstanding contributions to the university's prestige.
University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel emphasized the importance of holistic student development, encouraging students to engage in competitive activities alongside academics. He urged students to set clear goals during their college years, acquire essential skills, and utilize the university's platforms for sports, cultural activities, and research to achieve greater success.
Provost Dr. P. M. Udani motivated students to recognize their talents and showcase their unique abilities in various fields.
The grand event was attended by Vice Chairman of Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal Shri Chandubhai Patel, along with trustees, invited guests, eminent educational and social leaders of Visnagar city and taluka, university officials, deans, principals, teaching and non-teaching staff, and over 8,000 students.
At the conclusion of the program, University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Provost Dr. P. M. Udani, and Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi congratulated the winners and participants of various competitions. Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi also appreciated the efforts of all university staff in making the event a grand success.
