On the occasion of Yoga Week, the Student Council of Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, in association with the Yoga and Wellness Club and NSS Unit, organized Yoga Championship 2025 on 17th June 2025.
Dr. Satyasingh Jhala from Lakulish Yoga University, Ahmedabad graced the event as the chief expert and judged the Asana and Surya Namaskar competitions. A total of 90 students enthusiastically participated in the championship.
SPU Yoga Instructors Kinjal Jadeja and Nisarg Vaghela provided training and guidance to the participants. University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Provost Dr. P.M. Udani, Dean of Students Dr. J.J. Patel, NSS Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Patel, and faculty members congratulated the participants and winners.
The success of the event was made possible with the support of University Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi and the collective efforts of the entire university staff.
