Today, on the sacred occasion of the 39th Punyatithi of Karmaveer, Freedom Fighter, Philanthropist, and Founder of Nootan Sarva Vidyalay Kelavani Mandal, Late Shri Sankalchandbhai Patel, a series of tribute ceremonies were held across Visnagar. Floral tributes were offered at various statues installed throughout the city to honor his remarkable life devoted to education, social service, and nation-building.
The tribute programme witnessed the presence of University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, senior leaders, Vice President and Trustees of Nootan Sarva Vidyalay Kelavani Mandal, the Provost, Registrar, Principals, Deans, and staff members of Sankalchand Patel University and its constituent colleges, who gathered in large numbers to pay homage.
The floral tribute began at 8:30 AM at APMC Market, Visnagar, where APMC Chairman Shri Jayantibhai Patel, Vice Chairman Shri Bharatbhai Chaudhary, all Directors, President of Visnagar Nagarpalika Shri Uttambhai Patel, Taluka BJP Vice President Shri Rajeshbhai Patel, former Mehsana District President Shri Jashubhai Patel, and several social, educational, and cooperative leaders were present.
To commemorate the 39th Punyatithi, a heartfelt homage programme was organized at Shri N.V. Patel Kumar Kanya Vidyalaya, managed by Uttar Gujarat Kumar Kanya Kelavani Mandal, Visnagar. Students offered prayers, bhajans, and devotional hymns in remembrance of Late Shri Sankalchandbhai Patel.
Notably, Archie Suthar, a Class 10 student of Nootan Sarva Vidyalay, delivered an excellent speech highlighting the inspiring life and contributions of Shri Sankalchandbhai Patel.
