On India’s 80th Independence Day, Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) and Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM) Trust celebrated with high patriotic fervor as President Shri Prakash Patel unfurled the National Flag on campus. In his address reflecting on 80 years of national progress, Shri Prakash Patel outlined SPU’s commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 by launching a state-of-the-art AI Lab, introducing specialized new programs in AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics under Engineering & Technology, advancing Semiconductor initiatives, and expanding the integration of these technologies into the medical sector for advanced healthcare. Emphasizing that modern progress must be ecologically sustainable, President Shri Prakash Patel also led the campus-wide "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" Mega Tree Plantation Drive, joining students and faculty in planting hundreds of saplings as a tribute to mothers and Mother Earth to build a greener, self-reliant India.
