About the Initiative

The National Task Force (NTF) to Address the Mental Health of Students in Higher Educational Institutions has been constituted pursuant to the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The Task Force aims to strengthen institutional mechanisms for promoting student mental health, emotional well-being, counselling, mentoring, and suicide prevention across campuses nationwide.
