6th Convocation held at Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar

In the sixth convocation ceremony of Sankalchand Patel University, distinguished guests included the honorable Dr. Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers of the Government of India, and special guests included the honorable Rishikeshbhai Patel, Minister of Health, Medical, and Higher Education of Gujarat, and the respected Member of Parliament from Mahesana district, Mrs. Shardaben Patel. Their presence added to the grandeur of the convocation ceremony, where achievements were celebrated. A total of 1720 degree holders, including 187 from diploma and post-diploma courses, 852 from undergraduate courses, 552 from postgraduate courses, 103 from P.G. Diploma courses, and 26 Ph.D. scholars, successfully completed their education and were granted degrees. Among them, 36 outstanding students who excelled in diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses across various disciplines were awarded the Gold Medals and degrees in recognition of their exemplary academic achievements.

In the convocation ceremony, the distinguished chief guest, the honorable Dr. Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers of the Government of India, provided information about various schemes for students by the central government and invited them to avail more benefits. He emphasized that education is the most powerful weapon, urging students to use their knowledge to bring about change globally and to contribute to the nation's progress through continuous and dedicated efforts. Dr. Mandaviya praised the students for their consistent hard work and encouraged them to reach new heights of success in various competitions and challenges across the world, making India shine brightly.

Special guest, the honorable Rishikeshbhai Patel, Minister of Health, Medical, and Higher Education of Gujarat, who was present at the ceremony, extended his best wishes to all the degree holders. He acknowledged the dedication and service of the students and expressed confidence that their commitment and service would illuminate India's name worldwide. He further recognized the increasing importance of knowledge and values in the technological era and encouraged students to actively participate in diverse competitions, fostering a competitive spirit to excel in the world. Sharadaben Patel, the Member of Parliament from Mehsana district, expressed in a relevant address that the significant contribution of educated youth is crucial for making India a better nation and achieving the development goals of the country. The University's Provost, Dr. P.M. Udaani, graciously accepted the invitation extended by Sankalchand Patel University and welcomed all dignitaries present. President Shri Prakashbhai Patel extended heartfelt wishes to all students who successfully obtained their degrees after completing their high-level studies at the University.
