Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar has taken a step forward to extends the arms by Inaugurating its first international alumni chapter in USA. On January 8, 2022 university launched its first international chapter in USA-Canada at SpiceRack Banquate in New Jersey. Meet was attended by nearly 50 members and was also broadcasted on Facebook Live, which was viewed by more than 500 members. Passout from various constituent institutes of the University remained present and shared their memories. SPU Alumni’s appreciated the efforts of the SPU to reach out to them also extended their best possible help to Existing students of the university. While sharing their memories, they were overwhelmed by the growth of the University and promised University Officials to support them in academics, research, innovation, incubation, mentoring as well as logistic support to students interested in higher studies in USA / Canada.
Chapter was Inaugurated in presence of President of the University, Shri Prakash Patel and Director – Technical Courses Dr. D. J. Shah. Dr. D. J. Shah in his opening remarks briefed all the alumni about the University and showcased the best practices of the university towards the holistic growth of the students. President Shri Prakash Patel shared the vision of the university and talked about various possibilities on mutual collaboration. He also stated that University is planning to have multiple international alumni chapters across the world, where there are good number of alumni.
Involvement of Alumni with the University will strengthen the academics, increase placement opportunities, collaborative startup, research activities and over and above that will help outbound students to get settled faster with minimal challenges. Such regional chapters will also help members in that region to collaborate, have social interactions and Professional growth.
