It's proud moment to announce that on the date of 10th January, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar and University of Texas Health at San Antonio, School of Dentistry has signed MoU on the following grounds. Research collaborations between the both universities, especially in the field of Dentistry. This agreement will help Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital to cater students in the scientific innovations, Short term skill development programs, externship and Observer ship programs, Faculties and Students Exchange Programs with them. President of Sankalchand Patel University visnagar Shri. Prakash Patel and director of technical courses Dr. D. J Shah had fruitful meeting with Peter M. Loomer, B.Sc, D.D.S., Ph.D., MRCD(C), FACD Professor and Dean of UT health School of dentistry, San Antonio USA. They discussed regarding International and Interdisciplinary research projects, exchange programs, value based teachings, learning and training, out rich courses/certificate program which can be carried out with the academic bodies of both the Universities. Provost Dr. J. R Patel said that this MoU will help dental students for creating bright future in dentistry in India and USA. Both universities vice chancellor and dean have assured to work together for the betterment of dental health of patients and students education at international standards.
