The Department of Public Health Dentistry had organised a 3 day overnight camp at Kandla SEZ from 7th January, 2022 to 9th January, 2022. A total of 472 patients were screened and 167 patients were treated. Dental treatments like extractions, oral prophylaxis, restorations and preventive treatments were done for all those requiring the same. Oral health education was given to children as well as adults. Tobacco cessation counseling was given to those requiring it. The camp was conducted following all COVID 19 guidelines as given by the State and Central Government. The camp was appreciated by the authorities and the residents of the Kandla SEZ.
