M.S Dhoni Cricket Academy [MSDCA] at Sankalchand Patel University, first ever in north Gujarat, It is a proud moment for Sankalchand Patel University Visnagar, to announce M.S. Dhoni Cricket academy at Visnagar in association with Shree enterprises and Aarka sports. This is the first ever time that such prestigious academy is collaborated with any university in North Gujarat. SPU has always encouraged and supported students for overall growth and development. This will provide facilities for emerging talents in sports. Has provided the best of infrastructure and facilities for students' academic, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities.
With this alliance, the students of North Gujarat will get the opportunity to learn modern coaching methodology from MSDCA and their accredited coaches. Coaching in MSDCA involves a lot of game sense and practical activities, with its focus on developing a participant's ability to perform during a match and not just in the nets," said Sridhar Reddy of Shri Enterprise.
This SPU- MS Dhoni cricket academy is one more progressive step towards fulfilling the same vision. The international standard cricket ground will be prepared and students from entire north Gujarat will be trained by Mr. Mandar Dalvi - Chief Coach of MS Dhoni Cricket Academy, BCCI level - C Coach, Fielding Coach - India Under 19 WC 2010. Shri Prakash Patel said this will help students’ development in overall aspect and nurture the young talents . Mr.Sikandar Heyat, Business Head- India & Global - Aarka Sports – MSDCA was present during the MoU. Dr. J.R Patel, provost of SPU wished for the grand success of the project.
