On the occasion of World Water Day, the NSS unit at Sankalchand Patel University collaboration with Visnagar Jiv Daya, provided water for the birds through earthen pots in the entire University complex.
Also present were the President of the University Shri Prakashbhai Patel Saheb, Provost Dr JR Patel Saheb, Registrar Shri PK Pandey Saheb, Deans of different faculties as well as Principals.
On this occasion, Shri Prakashbhai Patel instructed the Civil Department of the Engineering Department to work on the Water Harvesting project and in any case to collect monsoon rain water in the entire University campus till the coming monsoon and to use that water throughout the year. The information was given to the entire staff. The program was managed and planned by Sankalchand Patel University NSS Unit and Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Patel.
