Shri C. J. Patel College of Computer Studies has organized Industrial visit - Green Field (I) Pvt. Ltd., Gandhinagar, Gujarat where more than 150 students have visited. The purpose of the visit was to give the students technical exposure about sensor technology. The visit gave the students very good information about future career prospects and areas of research in computer science, IoT and sensor technology. Green Field Control System (I) Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1997, at Green City Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the capital of Gujarat. The basic objective was to build state-of-the-art engineering in the field of elevators through knowledge application, skills improvement and people's collaboration. With ISO 9001: 2008 and CE Certified Quality Assurance with its advanced engineering, GF Elevator is the core competency that sets it apart from the market leaders and maximizes high value proposition for their global client. GF Elevator Maintains its momentum for unleashing sophisticated edge elevator products backed by dedicated and sophisticated research and development. BCA students understood many things like smart home automation, home security with smart lock tools developed by the company. Students gained overview knowledge about sensor technology and automation using IoT (Internet of Things).
The company's own products such as smart switch, smart door, smart lock, smartlift system were demonstrated by the company's employees. Green Field (I) Pvt. Ltd. Piyush Yadav (CEO), G.D. Patel and M.R. Patel (MD) and Dr. N.N. Jani Executive Director GFKC Dr. Abhijeet Singh Jadeja (Principal (incharge)) and his team take a keen interest in explaining the company's process. To make this industrial visit a success, Prof. Chaitali Patel, Prof. Yogesh Patel, Prof. Shahnavajkhan Pathan, Prof. Hemant Patel, Prof. Kajal Patel and Shri Pinal Patel made the efforts. This was an excellent practical oriented experience for the students and staff.
