Today marks a momentous milestone as Sankalchand Patel University celebrates its 10th Foundation Day, beginning with a solemn tribute to Late Shri Sankalchand Patel Dada. The celebrations featured a spirited Mashal Rally and a prestigious Presidential Award Ceremony, graced by Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel (Hon'ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare), Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama (Former Cabinet Minister), and University President Shri Prakash Patel. We were also honored by the presence of Shri Nitinbhai Patel (Former Deputy CM, Gujarat), Shri Haribhai Patel (MP, Mehsana), Shri Mukesh Patel (MLA, Mehsana), Smt. Shardaben Patel (Former MP, Mehsana), Shri Ajay Umat (Group Editor, NavGujarat Samay & Ahmedabad Mirror), and Shri Ronak Patel (Editor, ABP Asmita).
In a major leap forward, we inaugurated the Pragya AI & Accelerated Computing Lab and the new UNIBITES cafeteria. These facilities, opened by our distinguished guests alongside the University Provost and Registrar, highlight SPU’s commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and cutting-edge technology for our academic community. The morning concluded with a celebratory lunch, bringing together the entire SPU family, including our former and current provosts, registrar, and staff, to honor a decade of academic growth and collective achievement.
The celebration continues into the night! While the morning was filled with tradition and honors, we are capping off this historic day with an electric evening as the sensation Darshan Raval takes the stage for a Live Concert. It is the perfect finale to our 10-year journey, bringing together students and staff for a night of music and memories. Let’s celebrate a decade of success in style!
