In a landmark initiative aimed at opening new avenues of employment for the youth of North Gujarat, Sankalchand Patel University, in collaboration with the District Employment Exchange, Mehsana (Government of Gujarat), successfully organized the Technical Mega Placement Drive–2025 on 19 December 2025.
The mega placement drive witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 2,500 technical and professional students from across Gujarat participating enthusiastically. The event also saw the active involvement of over 60 reputed national and multinational corporate groups, making it a truly impactful platform for career opportunities. Notably, this was the first-ever mega placement drive exclusively dedicated to technical and professional students, marking a significant milestone in the region’s academic and employment landscape.
Renowned corporate organizations such as Maruti, MRF, Axis Bank, Adani Group, Jyoti CNC, Toyota, Odoo, Samarth Diamond, Ratnamani, Ratnatris Pharmaceutical, Emcure Pharma, Vardhaman, Suzuki Motor, OM EXIM, Hyundai, and many others participated in the drive, offering students a golden opportunity to shape their professional careers.
The prestigious event was graced by the presence of Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University; Shri Govindbhai Patel, Managing Director of Samarth Diamond; and Shri V. S. Pandor, District Employment Officer, Mehsana, whose presence added immense value and inspiration to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of the University, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries and corporate representatives for honoring the University’s invitation. He stated that, “This job fair is not merely an event, but a powerful confluence of education, government, and industry—a true Triveni Sangam.” He further blessed the aspiring job seekers and affirmed that the University plans to organize similar placement drives on a much larger scale in the near future, in close collaboration with government bodies and industry partners.
Shri Govindbhai Patel, Chief Guest of The Event & Managing Director of Samarth Diamond, lauded the proactive efforts of Sankalchand Patel University in generating employment opportunities for the youth of North Gujarat and extended his best wishes for such meaningful initiatives.
The University’s Provost, Dr. Prafulkumar Udani, and Registrar, Dr. Parimal Trivedi, commended the relentless efforts of the organizing team and congratulated the candidate who were shortlisted for the next stage of the interview process.
Out of the 2,500 participating candidates, an impressive 1,478 students were shortlisted for the second round of interviews by various industries, clearly reflecting the success, credibility, and effectiveness of the Mega Placement Drive.
By seamlessly bridging technical education with meaningful employment opportunities, this initiative stands as a testament to Sankalchand Patel University’s strong social commitment and its unwavering resolve to build a brighter, more empowered future for the youth.
