The Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal Trust established by the late Sankalchandbhai Patel of Karmaveer Swatantra Senani, which provided primary and higher education to the people of North Gujarat, establishing Visnagar as a city of education. It has become famous all over Gujarat as the only Sankalchand Patel University in North Gujarat providing studies in the field of Medical - Paramedical, Technical, Pharmacy, Management, Science, Commerce, etc.
To fulfill the dream of late Sankalchandbhai Patel and to make the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal a expand in the field of education, on the occasion of the 5th Punya Tithi A ceremony was held on November 14th at the University to honor and welcome donors who donated for the Oxygen Plant, Ventilator and ICU on Wheels Ambulance during the Covid epidemic at the Nootan General Hospital.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Hon'ble Shri Nitinbhai Patel presided over the function, Hon'ble Minister for Health and Irrigation Hon'ble Shri Rishikeshbhai Patel was the Chief Guest, Hon'ble Shri Narharibhai Amin, Former Deputy Chief Minister and Member of Rajya Sabha was the Special Guest. In the occasional inauguration of the program, Mr. Prakashbhai Patel, President of Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal and President of Sankalchand Patel University welcomed the invited guests and recalling the excellent educational and social work of late Bholabhai Patel, said that Higher education should be found in fulfilling that dream of Sankalchand dada and in the development of Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal Trust and Sankalchand Patel Vidyadham. Bholabhai Patel has been an invaluable contributor. On this occasion, he said that the Homoeopathic College has been renamed as Bholabhai Chaturbhai Homoeopathic College in his memory.
On this historic occasion, President Shri Prakashbhai Patel thanked the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Hon'ble Shri Narendrabhai Modi, Hon'ble Home Minister Shri Amitabhai Shah, Former Health Minister and Hon'ble President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mr. J P Nadda was thanked. In addition, the Government of Gujarat and former Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel, former Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Hon'ble Shri Bhupendrabhai Chudasama, Hon'ble Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary, MLA of Visnagar and Minister for Health and Irrigation Shri Rishikeshbhai Patel for their cooperation in the establishment of Sankalchand Patel University. Minister for Health and Irrigation Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel in his inaugural address admired the work done by late Bholabhai Patel in Visnagar and North Gujarat in the field of education and social work and important contribution. As well as providing guidance for the introduction of such courses at the university for the holistic development of the all students through the innovative courses of Skill Development at present.
Hon'ble Shri Naraharibhai Amin in this occasional speech admired the fame and glory of the University. He wished to make a significant contribution in the field of education globally in the time to come.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel in his speech said that for the development of the country, nation and society through education for the formation of personality. Bholabhai Patel's tireless efforts were noted. On this occasion, congratulations were extended to all the donors who donated to the Nootan General Hospital in Corona epidemic.
