Sankalchand Patel University organized a special programme under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan” on Thursday, 18 December 2025. The primary objective of the programme was to create awareness among the youth and encourage the adoption of indigenous (Swadeshi) products in daily life.
The programme featured Shri Dushyantbhai Pandya, Former District In-charge, as the Chief Speaker. Through impactful examples, he elaborated on the ideals of “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi”, “Atmanirbhar Bharat is not a dream, it is the resolve of today’s young India”, and “Let us adopt Swadeshi and build a developed India”. He provided detailed insights into the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, emphasizing its role in nation-building.
In his address, Shri Dushyantbhai Pandya highlighted that “Today’s programme is not merely a lecture, but a pledge connected to nation-building.” He further explained that Atmanirbhar Bharat is not limited to economic self-reliance alone, but also includes independence in thought, confidence in skills, leadership in innovation, and a strong sense of responsibility toward the nation. He inspired the youth to understand and implement these ideals in their lives.
On this occasion, President of Sankalchand Patel University, Shri Prakashbhai Patel, emphasized the importance of promoting the objectives of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. He encouraged the adoption of Swadeshi products and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to contributing to national development through education, startups, and research. He also stated that the University is actively working towards fulfilling the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047” as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
The programme was graced by the presence of President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi, Principals of affiliated institutions, faculty members, staff, and more than 1300 students. All participants collectively took a pledge to support Atmanirbhar Bharat by adopting Swadeshi products and contributing to the development of the nation through the spirit of “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi.
