“Empowering Smiles: A Recap of the Geriatric Dental Outreach Program by Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital” In celebration of World Geriatric Day 2023, the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Sankalchand Patel University, organized a remarkable community outreach program in Village Padusma. This initiative brought together over 35 dedicated faculty, postgraduates, and undergraduates, uniting their efforts to deliver smiles to more than 50 villagers. The program commenced with an array of dental care services provided to the elderly residents, aiming to enhance their oral health and overall well-being. The team of passionate dental professionals offered their expertise, instilling a sense of care and empathy within the community. During the event, a Speciality Pamphlet was released, presenting crucial information about maintaining oral health. The presence of esteemed Dean, Dr. Vilas Patel, added grace to the occasion, highlighting the commitment of the institution towards promoting dental health and community well-being. A Speciality awareness lecture was a significant part of the program, enlightening the attendees about the importance of dental health for seniors and the benefits of prosthodontics and crown & bridge treatments in enhancing their quality of life.
