The seminar on “Emerging Trends and Technologies” at CE/IT Department, SPCE, Sankalchand Patel University was organized on March 10, 2023, for engineering students to explore current trends and technologies in the field of computer and information technology. Dr. Kirit Modi, HoD CE/IT Department and Dean of Computer Science conducted an informative session on “Computer Science Trends in 2023” and enlighten the students to upgrade their skills in current technologies for better job opportunities in current areas like IoT, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, etc. After an expert session online quiz was arranged for all the students in the field of computer science. Prof. Vivek shah and Prof. Neha Gajjar coordinated this event. In the end, a departmental visit was scheduled to show the various advanced laboratories like Apple Lab, and Android lab, E-Yantra Lab in the department. During the visit, the students visited the supercomputer center of SPCE.
Dr. Santosh G. Shah, Principal, SPCE HoD, CE/IT Dr. Kirit J. Modi along with Dr.Manish Patel and Prof. Hiral Patel smoothly coordinated the entire event. Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University, and Provost Dr. D. J. Shah provided the necessary guidance and support to make this event a grand success and support.
