GACDE conclave 2021 was organised by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Sankalchand Patel University in association with Gujarat Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics on 25th September 2021. The event was graced by the presence of Shri. Manoj Aggrawal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, President SPU Shri. Prakash Patel, Additional Director Dental and Dean GDC Ahmadabad, Dr. Girish Parmar, Provost SPU Dr. JR Patel, President GACDE Dr. Shashin Shah, Secretary GACDE Dr. Pallav Chokshi.
The event included a 2 days virtual e-poster and e-paper competition on 23rd and 24th September 2021 and the main event on 25th September 2021 conducted offline at the college campus.
The mentors for the event were renowned speakers in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Dr. Mahalakshmi S from Chennai, Dr. Dilip Bandodkar from Goa and Dr. Akshay Langalia from Ahmadabad. They spoke on various topics from the speciality of the subject and briefed about the advancements and treatment skills. Around 160 Faculty and student delegates and private practioners from various parts of Gujarat attended the program.
