A GSBTM sponsored National Symposium on Biotechnology and Health Sciences was organized on 19th October 2021. Prof. Naresh H. Kelawala, Hon’ble Provost of Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar was the chief Guest of the inaugural session. Dr Madhvi Joshi, Joint Director of GBRC, Gandhinagar has delivered a keynote speech in the conference. Dr. Santanu Das of Sheshadripuram First Grade College has delivered a plenary speech in the conference. An oral and poster presentation competition was organized for the UG, PG and Ph.D. students in which about 116 students out of 180 students gave participated. Prof. S.R. Dave Director of Xavier’s Research Foundation and Dr. K. Saroja, Principal of Khyati Institute of Science were the jury members of oral presentation and the poster presentation was evaluated by Dr. Prerna Patel of Khyati Institute of Science(UG), Dr. Indrani Bhattacharya and Dr. Krishan Kumar of Parul University has evaluated the PG and Ph.D. section posters. Prof. S.R. Dave was the chief guest of Valedictory session. Khyati Institute of Science was felicitated by the title, “Ambassador of the Event”. All students enjoyed the symposium as they gained very good knowledge.
