Inaugurated the "MS Dhoni Cricket Academy [MSDCA]" at Sankalchand Patel University by Former Australian cricketer and international cricket coach Dev Whatmore and founder of Aarka Sports Mihir Diwakar was present as the chief guest on the occasion. With the inauguration of the Cricket Academy at Sankalchand Patel University, young cricketers from North Gujarat who want to advance in the world of cricket and pursue a career in cricket at the national as well as international level will get easy training. Former Australian cricketer and international cricket coach Dev Whatmore said in a statement that the academy would provide a platform to help prepare the best cricketers of the future.
Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University, said that the Cricket Academy at the University would bring out the talent in the students of the University as well as the players around them and increase their enthusiasm towards sports.
