International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity – 2026 (ICAICS-26) Sankalchand Patel University

Sankalchand Patel University successfully organized the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity – 2026 (ICAICS-26) on 6–7 March 2026 at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad. The two-day international conference served as an important platform for researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students to exchange ideas and explore emerging innovations in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
The conference was inaugurated in the presence of President Shri Prakash Patel and Provost Dr. Prafulkumar Udani, along with distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi (Director General, National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology), Dr. Padmaja Joshi (Scientist-G, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing), Dr. Manju Joshi, and Mr. Sunny Vaghela (CEO & Founder, EduTech Defence Lab, Ahmedabad). The dignitaries emphasized the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence and the need for strong cybersecurity frameworks in the digital era.
The conference featured several keynote sessions delivered by eminent experts from national and international institutions. Speakers included Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Dr. Padmaja Joshi, Dr. Swadhin K. Behera (Director, Application Laboratory, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, Japan – online), and Dr. Manjusree Panchagnula (Group Head, Remote Sensing Applications Area, National Remote Sensing Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation). The sessions focused on emerging developments in AI, cybersecurity challenges, and advanced technological applications.
On the second day, additional keynote sessions were delivered by Dr. S. Bandyopadhyay from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on “Reshaping Agricultural Landscape using Geospatial Intelligence,” Dr. Ranendu Ghosh (Co-Founder & CTO, Satleo and former scientist, Indian Space Research Organisation) on “AI in Geospatial Data Processing,” Mr. Sanjay Keshva (Indian Police Service) on cyber fraud prevention, Mr. Pavan Saxena from Techdefence Labs on cybersecurity awareness, and Dr. Madhukant Patel, former scientist at Indian Space Research Organisation, who delivered a session on Digital Farming.
A significant highlight of the conference was the presentation of more than 190 research papers across 2 tracks and 10 parallel technical sessions. Researchers and scholars from various institutions presented their work in both online and offline modes, covering diverse themes related to Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. These sessions encouraged academic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and research collaboration.
To further promote student innovation, a Poster Presentation Competition was also organized during the conference. A total of 31 posters were presented by students, showcasing creative ideas and technological solutions addressing contemporary challenges in AI and cybersecurity. The session provided an opportunity for young researchers to interact with experts and receive valuable feedback on their work.
The conference concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony held on 7 March 2026, featuring an insightful address by Dr. C. P. Singh, who spoke about the evolving role and transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence in advanced technological fields. During the ceremony, Best Paper Presentation Awards were presented to outstanding researchers in recognition of their innovative contributions.
On this occasion, Provost Dr. Prafulkumar Udani congratulated all participants, speakers, and organizers for the successful completion of the conference and appreciated their efforts in making ICAICS-26 a meaningful platform for academic exchange, innovation, and collaborative research. The two-day international conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students, reinforcing Sankalchand Patel University’s commitment to promoting research excellence and technological advancement.
