Sankalchand Patel University in association with the faculty of management studies has organized an international expert talk: “Applications of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning in Business” on 24th February 2022.
International speaker for this event was Mr. Vivek Raina, who is mentor at McCombs Business School, University of Texas, Austin, and a Strategic consultant at deeplearning.ai (Canada). He has more than 20 years of wide experience in a AI field. He demonstrated his knowledge by explaining the importance of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and their various applications in business areas. He has conducted his expertise through ascending scale with today’s technology-driven lived life system in a better and smooth way.
Shri. Prakash Patel President of SPU had discussion with international speaker regarding the international level academic and research development in SPU. He also extended his support to organize more events like this for the students which will help them to work globally.
The program was inaugurated by vice-chancellor (Provost) SPU, Dr. J.R. Patel and he narrated his thoughts in regard to imbibing the holistic approach in students’ learnings and development in the field of AI & ML. Director of technical courses, SPU & Principal SPCE, Dr. D.J. Shah, welcomed the delegates and speaker and said that imparted knowledge about the usefulness of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He promised his views toward positivism of such events in the future for students’ learning and development. Dean, faculty of management studies, Dr. J.K. Sharma said that these kind events with international faculty and delegates will be organized regularly for the benefit of students. Head- department of business management, Dr. Jayshree Datta gave good wishes to the team.Dean- external affairs of SPU, Dr. Anil Managuti and Associate Dean- external affairs of SPU, Dr. Shailesh Patel and other senior as well as junior faculties of SPCE affiliated institutes took active participation.
In total, more than 269 students from various disciplines such as MBA, IMBA, BBA, MCA, BCA, etc. actively participated in the event, and their presence gave impetus to the paramount success of the event.The event was well coordinated by Prof. Uday Acharya, Assistant Professor of Faculty of Management Studies.
In the future, this university thriving to organize more such international level seminars to the uplifting of students’ career opportunities in their innovation-led field.
