Every year, October 10 is celebrated as 'World Mental Health Day'. Mental health plays as important a role as physical health. In order to create awareness among the people, various mental health related activities such as Yoga, Laughter Therapy, Diversion Therapy were organized by the students at the Vedic De-addiction Center, Patan by the Nootan College of Nursing affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University. Dr. Kantibhai Patel, Head Psychiatrist, Vedic De-addiction Center was present as the Chief Guest. An exhibition was also organized by the students at the college making models related to mental health.
