Sankalchand Patel University in association with Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi organized “World’s Environment Day” on 5-June 2021. On this day Medical, Herbal and Natural trees were planted with valuable presence of vice chairman of Nootan Sarva Vidhyalaya Kelavani Mandal Shri C.M.Patel, Provost Dr. J.R.Patel sir, Registrar Dr.Rekha Savnani, Principal of Nootan Science college Dr. R.M.Patel sir along with staff members and NSS students volunteers.
Online webinar on “Ecosystem Restoration” was organized in which Invited chief guest and keynote speaker was Dr. Harshadbhai Shah, Honorable Provost, Children’s University, Gandhinagar. Sir gave valuable guidance regarding Medicinal traditional plants, Indian traditional values respect to environment conservation and waste Water (Pollutants) management. Various online competitions like Drawing, e-Poster making and Essay writing were organized for SPU students as a part of students activity.
