In order to upgrade the skills of the students through Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering, Visnagar and provide them employment, the Gujarat Government's Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (CED) organizes technical education, industry visits, seminars, expert talks etc. Sankalchand Patel Skill Development has been recognized from the current academic year for the purpose of becoming self-reliant by getting placements as well as efforts to reach the set target. Hon'ble Mrs. Shardaben Patel (MP, Mehsana), Hon'ble Mr. Somabhai Modi (Social Worker), President and Chairman of Sankalchand Patel University, Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Vice President Shri Chandrakantbhai Patel, Minister Shri Mahendrabhai Patel, Trustees and Provost of the University. Dr. J. R. Patel, Director (Technical) and Principal of the Institute. Dr. D. J. Shah In the presence as well as the Dean / Principal of all the affiliated colleges and other dignitaries. It was inaugurated on 16-09-2021. The center will provide free training in courses like Fitter, General Duty Assistant as well as Solar PV Installation (Suryamitra). To make this program a success, the principal and director (technical courses) of the institute, Dr. D. J. Shah, Project Manager Shri Jigarbhai Joshi and the entire team contributed. Guidance for successful planning of the program was given by the President of the University, Hon'ble Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Provost Hon'ble Prof. (Dr.) J.R. Patel and Registrar Dr. Pramod Kumar Pandey.
