Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar celebrated Janmastami festival on 18th August, 2022 at University campus. Dahi Handi, Krishna Arti, Ras-garba and cultural programs were performed by the students of SPU. More than 100 students participated in various programs and made the event more religious and enjoyable. Dr. D. J. Shah, Provost, SPU motivated the students in by giving the importance of Shrimad Bhagvat Gita in our society and youth in current context. Multiple teams of students participated in Dahi Handhi, Ras-Garba & Cultural programs from various constituent institutes of the University. The entire program was coordinated by Dr. Vilas Patel, Cultural I/C SPU, Dean Faculty of Dental Science, Dr. Hirak Joshi, Dean, Student affairs, Dr. Bharat Modi, Deputy Registrar Admin, SPU and Ms. Niyomi Patel, Executive Assistant, SPU. President of the University Shri Prakash Patel, Vice President Shri Chandrakantbhai Patel and Provost Dr. D. J. Shah wished all the members of the University family on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
