Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, witnessed a vibrant and devotional atmosphere during the three-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations held on 27th, 28th, and 29th August 2025. The event was marked by active participation from students, faculty, staff, and officials, highlighting unity, devotion, and cultural pride.
The festival commenced on 27th August (Day 1) with the installation of Lord Ganesha and traditional Aarti. The sacred installation puja was performed in the presence of President Shri Prakash Patel and Smt. Artiben, setting a spiritual tone for the celebration. Special devotional songs enriched the inaugural ceremony.
On 28th August (Day 2), the campus came alive with cultural programs including Garba, Bhajans, and dance performances. The evening Aarti and devotional singing by students created an inspiring and festive ambiance across the university.
The celebrations concluded on 29th August (Day 3) with the Ganesh Visarjan and farewell rituals, conducted with great devotion and emotional fervor. The grand finale brought the festival to a harmonious close.
The Ganesh Chaturthi Mahotsav at SPU not only showcased the richness of Indian traditions but also strengthened the bonds of unity, enthusiasm, and team spirit among the university community.
