Sankalchand Patel University (SPU), Visnagar, partners with an EduSkills Industry Centre of Excellence (CoE) recognised by the AICTE, New Delhi/Ministry of Education, as well as the National Internship portal, marking a significant step forward in promoting industry-integrated education, enhancing employability, and promoting quality skill development.
The Centre will focus on providing students with industry-relevant training, hands-on projects, and exposure to emerging technologies, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial practices. This will be achieved through collaborations with top 15 Global Companies and 43 Internship domains, offering opportunities for skill development and Placements.
The partnership aims to develop competencies in key technological areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Industry 4.0, Semiconductor Technology, and Cybersecurity. Furthermore, faculty members will have access to Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and upskilling opportunities offered by EduSkills Foundation, enabling them to integrate advanced
digital and pedagogical tools into their teaching.
Hon’ble President Shri Prakashbhai Patel and Provost- Prof. (Dr.) Prafulkumar Udani appreciated the collaboration, stating that “this partnership with EduSkills Foundation will open new avenues for innovation, employability, and excellence, strengthening the University’s mission to nurture industry-ready graduates through quality education.” Dr. Chetan Choudhary, Director – IQAC, whose efforts played a
