Visnagar, September 17, 2026: Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, organised a series of service and welfare initiatives under the theme “25 Years of Seva and Samarpan” to mark the 76th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. The programmes included a Mega Blood Donation Camp at Nootan General Hospital, which collected 629 blood units, free healthcare and screening services across more than 25 villages, including special check-ups for senior citizens and mammography screening for women, and the inauguration of the first AI-integrated Cardiac CT Scan facility in North Gujarat. The celebrations also featured cleanliness and awareness drives, student competitions, an inter-school talent programme, and a special “Ashirvad Na Diva – Deepotsav” and “Bharat Mata Maha Aarti”, where more than 4,000 participants lit 21,000 lamps depicting Akhand Bharat and the image of Shri Narendrabhai Modi. A Bhajan Sandhya by Mehsana ISKCON Group and cultural performances by the Nrutyavali Group added to the celebrations. A medical check-up camp for Ambaji pilgrims is being conducted from September 17 to 23, while 10,000 postcards were sent by students and staff conveying birthday greetings. Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University, reaffirmed the institution’s continued commitment to education, healthcare and social service and expressed gratitude to doctors, blood donors, students, employees, officials and citizens for their valuable participation and support.
