Sankalchand Patel University Organized Program on “Save Soil”

"SaveSoil" is a global movement to invoke a conscious approach to soil and planet in all as every second one acre of the land is getting converted into a dessert and we have agricultural land left for only 40 to 60 years as per UN agencies report.One of the main objective of this movement is to show governments across the world that their citizens want policies that revitalize the ecology and soil. As a part of this movement, Shri Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who is the founder of Isha foundation, is riding across 24 nations, for 30,000km over 100 days as a lone motorcyclist to raise the awareness among the citizens. As a responsible body, Sankalchand Patel University also organized a session on Save soil on 13th May,2022 in the valuable presence of our president sir Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Dr J R Patel(Provost), Dr Himanshu Joshi(Dean, NMCRC), Dr Bharat Shah(Medical director), all the trustees, heads and staff of the campus, in which Dr Heena Rajput (Assistant professor, OBGY, NMCRC) had given a elaborate presentation on the Save Soil Movement, in a very simple and effective way and inspired all to be part of the movement. At last, our President Shri Prakash sir Patel ensured all to provide all the needed support to creat awareness about this among the youth and encouraged all to join the Save Soil movement.
