In the field of education and culture in Visnagar, Sankalchand Patel University provided its contribution on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which took place on the 29th of August. The celebration was organized by the Brahma Kumaris sisters in conjunction with the University's Women Development Cell, involving over 300 faculty members and students from the university. BK Reshmaben from the Brahma Kumaris center in Visnagar, along with her fellow companions, participated in the event and presented her thoughts on the spiritual, scientific, and cultural significance of Raksha Bandhan, emphasizing the importance of connecting one's soul with the Divine in today's era. The University's Provost, Dr. Prabhulkumar Udani, addressed the students and conveyed that progress of the nation not only requires scientific and cultural development but also necessitates spiritual insight, which is essential in the current times. BK Reshmaben highlighted in her speech that the connection between the individual soul and the Supreme Soul is the true connection and that nurturing a positive spiritual approach is crucial for mental peace in today's world. At the end of the program, blessings were given to all faculty members and students by the Brahma Kumaris sisters. The successful event concluded with best wishes from Shri Prakash Patel, President of the University, Dr. Prabhulkumar Udani, Provost, and Dr. Parimal Trivedi, Registrar, who extended their gratitude to the organizers of the event.
