After the successful implementation of SSIP 1.0, the Sankalchand Patel University has signed an MoU with Gujarat Knowledge Society, Govt. of Gujarat for SSIP 2.0 for utilization of Rs. 2 Crore. The first phase of Rs. 10 Lacs was received by Dr Santosh G Shah, (Associate Dean Centre for Research & Innovation) from Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon. Minister of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India on 12/10/2022. The Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP) aims to support young minds to convert their innovative ideas into a Startup thereby contributing to the economy of the nation and achieving the dream of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. The President of University Shri Prakashbhai Patel and the Provost Dr D. J. Shah congratulated SSIP Cell led by Dr. Thangadura N. (Associate Director - Centre for Research & Innovation) and thanked the Government of Gujarat for such a great initiative.
