Seminar was held on “Water Management”

“Water Management” Seminar was successfully organized by Department of Climate Change, Government of Gujarat, Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar and Government Polytechnic College, Vadnagar. In this Seminar Honorable Member of Parliament Mrs. Shardaben Patel, Social Leader Shri.Somabhai Modi, Sankalchand Patel University President Shri Prakashbhai Patel, Joint Secretary Climate Change Department Mr. B. H. Talati, Prof. Vimal Mishra of IIT Gandhinagar, Dr. D. J. Shah, Provost of Sankalchand Patel University, Mr. Swetal Shah, Technical Adviser of Climate Change Department were present.

In this seminar, all the dignitaries discussed the latest concept and integration of technology against the effects of global warming in Gujarat, wind power, solar power, bio-gas, plastic waste management, solar roof top, water management and water storage in the renewable energy sector in Gujarat. Occasional lectures given. In this seminar, the unprecedented work done by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modiji during his tenure as the then Chief Minister was specially mentioned regarding water storage and ground water. Shrio Prakashbhai Patel, President of Sankalchand Patel University, informed about the implementation of various environmental and water conservation projects implemented by the university. More than 600 students and officials enthusiastically participated in this seminar.
