Sankalchand Patel University's NSS and Sports Department organized various service-oriented programs from September 23, 2023, to September 25, 2023, in celebration of National NSS Day. As a part of these activities, chocolate and peanut bars were distributed to the pilgrims visiting Ambaji on September 25, 2023. Students from Gujarat University also participated in the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, collecting plastic and other waste along the route.
On September 25, 2023, a seminar was organized where students were provided information on various NSS activities, dimensions, and methodologies. Dr. Niraj Silavat, Faculty of Gujarat University, graced the occasion. The event aimed to encourage students to actively participate in NSS and sports activities.
The program was attended by President of Sankalchand Patel University Shri Prakash Patel, the Chief Guest, Dr. P.M. Udaani, the Provost, and Dr. Parimal Trivedi, the Registrar, who motivated the children and extended their support. Dr. Rakesh Patel, NSS Coordinator, along with NSS Program Officers from various colleges, also congratulated the students for their efforts.
