Smt. S.B. Patel Institute of Business Management affiliated with Sankalchand Patel University organized a fashion show event on 12-March-2022, Saturday. The title of the event was “Walk on Red Carpet – Fashion Show 2022”. Department of BSc Fashion Designing and Management under Smt. S.B Patel Institute of Business Management organized this event. A total of 35 students from various schools of Visnagar Taluka and from the institution itself participated in the event. Coordinators of this event were Ms. Krupa Suthar and Ms. Twinkle J Parmar. Dr. Sunita Managutti – who won the best ramp walk award at Miss India 2018 and Ms. Hani Patel were the judges of this event. The duration of the fashion show was two hours and there were about 85 people in audience. The main purpose of this event was to give necessary exposure to students regarding the actual workings of Fashion and apparel industry. Fashion shows are conducted to showcase the upcoming clothes to the market by the designers. This Fashion show was done to instill necessary practical knowledge to students. Students were pretty excited and enthusiastic for this day. They worked pretty hard to make this event a successful one. Behlim Safa bagged the first prize and Suthar Devanshi Miteshbhai was the runners- up at the event.
