The 8th Convocation Ceremony of Sankalchand Patel University was held in a dignified and celebratory atmosphere in the august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel. Degrees were conferred upon 2,213 graduates across Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs, including 41 Ph.D. scholars and 35 gold medalists. The ceremony was further graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel and Mr. Derek M. Shah, CEO & MD, L&T Energy GreenTech. Marking a significant step towards digital transformation and sustainability, SPU introduced blockchain-based QR code degree certificates, ensuring tamper-proof security and instant verification. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Minister also inaugurated a 1.5 MW Solar Rooftop Power Plant, strengthening SPU’s commitment to green energy, and performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the world-class SPU Sports Arena. Guided by the visionary ideals of Late Shri Sankalchandbhai Patel, Sankalchand Patel University continues its journey of excellence in education, innovation, sustainability, and nation-building—shaping responsible professionals and future leaders.
