Navratri festival “Thanganat-2022” first day at Sankalchand Patel University

Jagat Janani Maa Ambana Pavan Parva Navratri Mahotsav “Thanganat-2022” has been grandly organized at Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar on 30th September and 1st October. On the first day, more than 9000 students, University family and invited guests in traditional costumes were play Garba to the beat of drums.

The Navratri festival “Thanganat” of the university celebrated for the last few years has a special attraction in the entire Mehsana district. On the first day of the festival, famous Gujarati folk singer Osman Mir and his entire team made the audience dance to the tune of Garba with their melodious voice. In addition, to preserve Indian culture among the youth, a selfie zone depicting rural culture was created, which became a center of attraction for the all and where people took selfies and uploaded them on social media.

On the first day of the above program, Gujarat State BJP General Secretary and former Home Minister Hon'ble Shri Rajnibhai Patel, Mehsana District MP Hon'ble Shardaben Patel, Mehsana District BJP President Shri Jashubhai Patel, Mehsana District BJP General Secretary Dr. J. F. Chaudhary, Shri Bhagaji Thakor, Shri Shaileshbhai Patel, Mehsana District BJP Vice President Mr. Jagdishbhai Patel and the cooperative, social and political dignitaries were presents as a chief guests.
