The program commenced at around 10:00 AM in Dental College Auditorium. The Chief Guest for the Program was Dr. Harshad Patel (IPS, DCP Ahmedabad City Police) and the Guest of Honor was Dr. Anil Nayak (Member of DCI). The event was also graced by the presence of Shri Prakash Patel (Hon’ble President, SPU), Dr. J.R. Patel (Hon’ble Provost, SPU), Dr. Vilas Patel (Associate Dean, NPDCH) and Dr. Sareen Duseja (Chief UG Co-ordinator). The newly joined students were welcomed by Associate Dean, NPDCH, Dr. Vilas Patel.
The white coat ceremony marking the beginning of professional journey of first year students was organized followed by Oath taking ceremony. Dr. Rahul Patel oriented the students about the Course and Curriculum and also informed them about Anti Ragging rules and regulations. The HODs and the faculty members of various Departments were introduced to the students. An insight about the campus and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities happening in the college and university was also provided.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sareen Duseja and the ceremony was followed by Lunch for the parents and students.
